Every morning around 4:30 I wake up with a cold nose and frozen finger tips.
During the end of summer when we moved into the apartment my room stayed warm no matter how cold the rest of the apartment was ours resembled an oven.
You think I'm joking?
I'm not one to exaggerate about temperatures...or ovens....k? :)
But of course as we enter the cold months our room, rather than keeping up with the heat it decides, "Let's keep 'em cold!"
Really room, really? So maybe I sound crazy talking to my room but I'm just sayin', I wish it would make up its mind.
I think we just have bad ventilation.
I was reading a decorating blog this morning about the authors' room feeling hospital room chic. I right there with ya! When I lived with my parents I had a lovely room with iron bed and warm lighting...now my room feels like white on white.
I love rooms that when you walk in them there's a feeling of being hugged. Do I sound too...hippie? Well you walk in, a candle is lit, fluffy bed, soft carpet, large pillows and a lamp setting of glow within the room.
...you remind me of home.......
So I'm setting off on a misson, a very affordable antique-y, greys and browns and dark blue love makeover.
I say this with great intentions, we'll see how far I get.
Oh and about my previous post? I'm believing I'm taken care of...like my dad said last night, this is an easy way out. I'm given an open invitation to a new adventure.
