Halloween.

I cannot believe it's already the last day of October, someone slow things down just a bit.

Growing up in a Christian household we never did trick or treating, always church fall festivals. Except for this one year, 1997. I don't know why we opted out of the usual, I'm sure it was because Josh and I bugged our parents enough to let us go just once.
I dressed up as Cinderella, which was the same character I had been for 3 years. Creative much?
At that time we lived in a neighborhood where everyone had lots of land so every home was a few acres apart. By the time we got to our 4th house we stopped, went back home, hopped in the car and got Happy Meals.
It was really funny though, thinking back that was the worst neighborhood to go in. Like I said all of the hopes were far apart, it was a loooong dirt road and I don't think there were street lights.
Maybe that's why we never went trick or treating after that.

So tonight I'm going to Morgan and Alissa's halloween party at their house in Nashville. I still don't know what to do for a costume, I've been told I should be an indian. Pocahontas? Scacagawea?
Maybe I should just be Cinderella...keep it old school.
