Those are from Tuesday night when we made Spaghetti, Banana Pudding and played Life.
Last night I started housesitting for the weekend for my boss's dog and then my mom's boss's dog. Bernie and Georgie respectively.
Kaelah came over for a couple of hours and we talked, drowned ourselves in chocolate ice cream and rode up and down the elevator. Yes, they have an elevator. We rode it quite a bit...maybe too much, but when in rome...when in elevator. I think you get the point.
And Kaelah, if you read this I just want to let you know that you're amazing. I absolutely love love love having you as a roommate and friend, I wouldn't have it any other way!
Yesterday afternoon I went to TJ Maxx to pick up a round, deep bake safe dish because I decided to make my favorite mexican tower meal. So freakin good it was! Anyway I had to pick up the dish and I also treated myself to some cocoa butter salt scrub and insanely moisturizing body butter. Once Kaelah left I took a shower and scrubbed head to toe with that salt scrub- I feel like a new born, I'm not kidding. You should shake my hand...it's really really soft. Just sayin'.
Today is Friday and as much as I want to hang out until the early hours of Saturday, I have to work the early hours of Saturday. :( I love the kids that I'm going to babysit, but the fact that I have to drive from Brentwood to Spring Hill to be there by 6 am is not enticing. I mean Starbucks won't even be open! I can do this, right? I can leave the house at 5:30 am, can't I?
I have no idea, I have to.
