Monday Monday Monday

I've started so many blogs with that Tegan and Sara tagline.
The weekend has come and gone and I don't think I got to experience it or revel in the fact that it was the weekend.
Well yesterday was good, yesterday made up for my lonely Friday and Saturday nights. Friday I went to bed at 8:45 because I had to babysit Saturday morning in Spring Hill at 7. Surprisingly I woke up energized- it must've been because of that salt scrub. It must have been!

Found and love the illustration above. Kaelah and I will start to work out this week! C'mon determination!

The next door neighbor to the house I was taking care of for the weekend is a Tennessee Titan football player and he was having a birthday party for whom I'm assuming was one of his kids. When I drove up to the house after babysitting there was a huge moonbounce in the backyard with a big white tent and party decor vans lining the driveway. Once 5 pm came dark tinted escalades came in droves followed by shiny range rovers and mercedes. Their anonymity intrigued me, yet the bushes separating our yards guarded their rich faces. 70's music and hip hop blared through the speakers atop the bright white deck- you could hear loads of people, smell the grill's smoke and hear children splashing into the pool. That's a life I don't know if I'll ever experience. I took a video of my walking onto the deck of the house I was at just so you could hear the music- Cyclone playing loud for all to hear. I'm sure the 60 year old couple across the street wasn't too happy. Oh well.
Yesterday I finished all of my dog/housesitting. I hung out with Lindsey which was soooo needed and so nice.
I bought a towel holder for my bathroom, a great candle which smells uncannily like wildflowers, a super cute navy blue maxi dress, toilet paper, tilex and a scrubby brush for good measure. You know you're lame and growing up when you get excited about housewares. Or rather, you know I'm lame and am growing up when I get excited about that stuff. I'm weird, I get it.
Hung out with Jessica, Lindsey, Josh, Ryan, Daniel and Jordan for a while scouring KMart and Walmart for futons. We ended back at my apartment eating pop sicles and playing scattergories. I love those people so so very much. I love that I can be myself around them and not be judged. I am absolutely nothing but myself when I'm with them- I don't have to be something I'm not and the great thing is, they still accept me. Yay for true friends!!
Tonight The Hills premiers and Kaelah and I are going to have a mini get together at our complex's movie theater to watch it. I hate that this is the last season, I just adore this show. Not a guilty pleasure, just a pleasure. Uggh but I'm stoked about Whitney's spin-off show. Eeek so good!

Got to get back to work.
