During my time off at home, which as of lately hasn't been much, I like to browse magazines and the internet for differnt design ideas. Colors, composition, style, I just love to be inspired. I obsess over flickr and stlye blogs galore ranging from clothes to home and am always wanting to step it up a notch.
Here are a few photos that I've come across in the past couple of days which make my heart happy.

As of lately I am in search of a new place to call home. Lots of things have changed for me personally and with out a doubt I know God had his hand in all of the California/moving situation. In my decision not to move across country I've decided my alternatve will be moving to Nashville. I spend most of my time at least 20 minutes north of where I live and the city just makes sense. Jessica and I have begun to think about the different places we would like to live in and both agree that renting a little house would be most fitting. After searching Craigslist, a couple of houses have caught our eye and price range. Last night we went to the mall and bought dinner plates, small plates, bowls and s&p shakers- all of which are different yet so cute and cohesive. So basically I love to look at home items and new ways to decorate rooms. Clever ideas for small spaces with kitschy pieces scattered about are what I'm loving. This isn't a home design decorating blog, but it is a keepsake box for me to store memories and idea- a favorite artist of mine whose painting is of the lady above stated it so simply and suscintly.

"I journal to understand my life as I'm living it. I use my journals as a place to put the things that spill out over the edges of my life: photo negatives, scraps of paper, poems I have heard and loved, my sorrow, and epiphanies, the true and the questions. My journals have become guideposts for my life. Maybe it's the same way for you, and so I invite you inside me world. With this journal, you can create the book you most want to find." - Sabrina Ward Harrison

With that said I'll leave you to enjoy your weekend.
