My oh my how amazingly God provides.
His provision is great and His promises remain.
How awesome to serve a God such as Him!
I've been in prayer about extra jobs/babysitting gigs to save up money for the move- all along knowing that He'll provide if that's what needs to happen. As of the past couple of days I've gotten even more gigs in line, all of which are with people that I truly enjoy being around.
In other things...I'm seeing a weird coincidence about things that have entered my world, maybe by happenstance maybe by other reasons, I'm not sure. Either way here's what I have to say about it:
The movie 'Love in the Time of Cholera' is coming out in a few weeks which I am so eager to see. In all honesty I didn't know it was a real movie, I thought it was a fake book reference in the movie Serendipity, but no. You see in Serendipity John Cusak and Kate Beckinsale meet in New York City on a busy December day both looking for gloves for their partner. They essentially argue over why each of them should have it but end up in the cafe/restaurant Serendipity to settle it. They leave the restuarant separately, each having left a personal item they come back minutes later and meet again. Cusack believes this to be something special and asks for her number. Through a series of random tries to find each other that night it doesn't work so she puts her number in the book she was reading, the aforementioned 'Love in the Time of Cholera', and says she'll put it in a used bookstore somewhere in NYC the next day while his number is floating around on a $5 bill. They both agree that if it is meant to be, then he will one day be in posession of that book and she with the five-dollars. I won't say how the movie ends but I will say that it takes at least 10 years for them to possibly meet again. Now after that long synopsis I give you my reasoning behind the book. I found out that it's a story about two meet who meet but have to wait 51 years to find eachother again. I'm not certain of the details but know that that is the main plot.I went to the library yesterday to get the book but apparently everyone else in Williamson County would like to read the book as well. Here's another connection for you: in the movie Before Sunrise Ethan Hawke and Julie Delpy meet on a fated day in 1995 on a train to their respective homes. Through Hawke's persuasion Delpy stays and they have an adventurous day together but have to by the next day at a certain time part to go their separate ways. They plan to meet up a few months later but sadly it doesn't work out---- only the thing is you don't know they didn't meet until the sequel to the movie, Before Sunset. Oddly enough the sequel came 10 years later where they subsequently meet up again at his booksigning in Paris. Isn't that funny? (But not, really) The reason why I mention the last movie is because it's paused on my tv and I so happened to come upon it as I was searching for a movie to paint to. They're ones needless to say I delyed my painting for this entry and so it is.
And again yet not because it is one of my favorite songs of the moment, Combinations by Eisley. "I went for so long and I was so wrong and then I met you and now I can't live without you and I don't want to, I've done that all my life up 'til now."
With that said, I think I'm surrounded by all of that right now...or maybe I'm just really into love.
