Walking out of my apartment this morning I noticed our first flurries and even now at my desk the little white flecks of snow are dancing all over the cobblestone.

What a week I just had, everyday had something going on. It was so nice to have Adam here, not only was I able to talk to him on the phone but I could actually spend time with him. Walking around downtown Franklin, watching movies, making pumpkin ooey gooey cake and simply being together. Thanksgiving was wonderful! I spent the night at my parents for two nights. It felt like old times, going downstairs giving hugs to everyone when you wake up.
Mamma was fervently making the Thanksgiving lunch while the rest of us did our own thing. Adam came over around 10 to meet everyone. Nervous nervous! They all got along so well which made my heart happy. Such a big step bringing the boyfriend over to meet the family especially on a holiday like Thanksgiving. After lunch we watched How the Grinch Stole Christmas but inevitably we fell asleep on the couch. That evening we went to see Four Christmases with Reese Witherspoon and Vince Vaughn. Super cute, definitely a laugh out loud kind of movie.
Friday morning was back to the normal- I worked IveyCake which turned out to be surprisingly busy.
While folding boxes someone walks in and to my surprise it's Adam holding beautiful white lilies and a caramel apple cider! The sweetest most unexpected gesture :)
As the day went on I closed up shop and we went into a couple of boutiques followed by his parents home to watch Fred Clause and Planet Earth. That was amazing! I can't believe they captured all of that amazing footage, after seeing the intricasies of this world you can't doubt the presence of God. His craft is unbelievable.

Last night Kaelah and I decided to put up her Christmas tree. After going through the boxes I found we only had 3 legs and needed 4- Kaelah's first thought, super glue! Didn't work, too thin. Second thought, hot glue! Wouldn't hold. Third thought, packing tape! It stood up for 60 seconds then fell back onto the blinds. We named it Furnard. Furnard the 3 legged half naked ghetto christmas tree.

Today begins my last week at The Bennett House....working here has brought about change in my life for sure. Some places are only meant to be in your life for a season, I guess that's what this was.
