This is a time of refinement.

In my posts as of late I've stated how things have been hard.
I'm fully realizing that God is sovereign over all and that through all of these times which hurt which can bruise my ego essentially bring me to my knees.
I was reading this morning in 1 Peter about how we are to be obedient children, that He is Holy.

"Friends when life gets really difficult, don't jump to the conclusion that God isn't on the job. Instead, be glad that you are in the very thick of what Christ experienced. This is a spiritual refining process, with glory just around the corner." 1 Peter 12-13

The Lord is opening up doors left and right- His promises are true. After weeks of feeling somewhat down in the dumps I have gained anew perspective. My heart is happy and a smile sits permanently on my face. I'm not one to predict the future, simply because I can't- but I trust He has something up His sleeve. It's my humility and submission that will ultimately bring Him glory.
