I worked at least 45 hours this past week and somehow survived.
At this point I'm thankful for having the opportunity to work for two great businesses and pay all of my bills.
Can you believe it's full on fall? Downtown Franklin is absolutely fantastic right now, every street is lined with orange and gold leaf drenched trees. Hundreds of thousands of leaves have been swept into heaps along the sidewalks and the air is ever so crisp. I could walk around for hours outside being as it is.
Friday I worked at IveyCake during Wine Down Main and later got to hang out with Adam. A bunch of us just hung out at the apartment talking, ordered pizza watching Will and Grace. Saturday was IveyCake again with a steady flow of customers getting their cupcake fix. Definitely one of my favorite days working there yet, not sure what it was. Maybe I was just in a really good mood. Later that night Adam picked me up and we went to Taste of Tokyo for sushi in Hillsboro then Fido for chai's. I sure do like hanging out with him, he's one special guy. We headed back after a while and his brother Daniel came over to watch a move- The Strangers.
Sunday morning I woke up and Holli helped me come to the realization that rest is a good thing. I also came to the realization that I can't sit down. I must be moving moving moving getting things done. Sunday was such a great day. I ended up hanging out with Adam and his mom while winter shopping was done- got to love western shirts and pea coats, right? I bought a really cute coat on sale at Old Navy which I'm quite fond of as well. Sadly he had to leave that night to go back to Memphis but I drove down to Spring Hill for a girl's night at Surupa's. Such a good time, pizza and Baby Mama.
Today my plans are simple, wash clothes! I think having clean clothes is essential, something I've been missing out on for the past week. Must get that done, must! I guess that's about it for now. Still in prayer about a new job opportunity- God will open the doors.
