If God doesn’t give us what we ask for, we can be sure that He has something far better.

I'm sitting here at IveyCake on what seems to be a slow Saturday. Maybe that's a good thing....
Last night was halloween and as I was planning on going to Morgan's party I'm driving on the Interstate and my car begins to shake. It shakes in such a manner that I think my tire just blew out. Never a fan of car problems on the side of the interstate I pull off onto the exit and check it out. I ended up taking it to Sears and had a work order done for this morning while at work.

After taking it to Sears last night I get a call this morning from the mechanic and essentially without having to go into major detail, they can't (or maybe just won't) do any work. My back tires are "chopped" and my front left tire is way too low. They won't rotate my tires and they didn't even suggest my getting new ones.
You know its times like these when life gets hard. I don't doubt that I will be provided for, God's provision is great...the hardest part is uncertainty. My mom is meeting me after work today so I can drop my car off at another mechanic in Spring Hill.
When I was talking with her on the phone this morning she kept saying, "Just make that your prayer today. Pray that the Lord would supply you with an opportunity." So that's what I'm doing.
I went onto DailyBread's website and read their devotional for the day and loved how it so matched up with the situations in my life today. Here you are, I'm going to share :)

Paraphrasing James 1:5 "“Ask God for the wisdom to know what is right, what God wants done, and the will to do it.”
