Last night I had a dream I was sitting on a bench underneath a tree next to a lake and for some reason I all of a sudden realized it was fall and said aloud, "It's fall!".
Sadly I was near no lake and the weather has yet to resemble fall. I'm betting our balcony will be the best place to sit in October.
We have this huge tree that shades our little sitting area and tons of trees surrounding, it'll be fantastic.
We're moved in but the place is a wreck. For some reason the only "room" that stays remotely clean is the kitchen. I think I'm a biy OCD when it comes to the kitchen, I just want it to be clean, you know, livable.
I'm pretty sure laziness has over taken us as we have no trash can so we're resorting to empty packing boxes, buckets and paint cans. I'm not even kidding you. There's also a huuuuge stack/pile of boxes newspaper and packing material neck high (my neck high, I'm only 5'2"). Today we shall clean! Today we shall clean!
Kaelah's bedroom is now fully painted and we only have to do a second coat on one wall in the dining room and we're done! Well we need our couch too. There's been a whole lot of just lying on the floor in the living room.

Yesterday was so much fun. Brunch with Kaelah, Ashleigh, Nicole and Lauren then back to the apartment to paint. In the afternoon we hung out on the balcony eating homemade grape popsicles and Kaelah's pickle-sicle's. (frozen pickle juice on a stick) We made the craziest not to mention creepiest videos on the mac. Ate pizza...on the balcony...catching the drift?...the balcony is the new living room.

Everything feels so right right now. You know when you find yourself somewhere and think this is exactly where I'm supposed to be. Each roomate with their boyfriend making fun of one another being random enjoying being young. I probably sound like such a lame sap but I was lying on the floor last night surrounded by this new group and new time in my life and kept thinking about all of that.

Anyyyway......I'm ready for fall. I was looking at pictures of Ashley Olsen from a thread on flickr
and thought, this is what I want to wear.....all fall/winter long.
