I may be poor, but I sure am happy.

The people at our apartment consist of the three girl roommates and the three boyfriends. We all pretty much congregate at around 8 or 9 at night in the living room or on the balcony. Last night everyone wanted to get in the hot tub and pool. Now personally I'm not one to take off my clothes and get wet in front of a lot of people, I think I have a weird complex. But anyway with everyone dressed in underwear and bathing suits, I walk down to the pool in my jeans and t-shirt. I'm pretty sure everyone branded me 'un-coolest person of the night'.
I put my feet in the hot tub, it's burning hot and seems odd to sit in hot water when it's about 90 degrees outside in August, But whatevs. After much persuading and 'BETSY! C'mon! Just get in! Get in with your clothes on!', I did. I really should work on non-corformist ways. ehhh I had fun.
We swam for about an hour then headed back into the apartment. I guess we've become our own little group in a sense...we don't do anything special, infact we have absolutely nothing to do. The cable hasn't been turned on and we don't have a dvd player hooked up so we all just talk, text and sit on our lap tops. I'm sure once furniture fills up the space these times won't be as sweet- they'll just be more cushioned. hah.


Oh totally building up my spice cabinet! I'm oddly excited about having a lot of spices and baking supplies, I just want to be very domesticated. I like taking care of people and loving them and making them things. Watch out, here comes Mamma Betsy.
