every morning at work I do my usual websites I visit.

gmail, facebook, myspace, last fm, pandora and then somewhere in the middle I type in flickr.com
i love flickr. loved it for years. i always enjoy looking at my contacts' new photos or artwork they've posted.
As I scroll through the pages, I see a picture of a ferris wheel.

Ferris Wheels.
I can't remember the last time I rode one. They're so much fun and just evoke late summer! The heat and humidity is heavy and everything smells of corn dogs and funnel cakes. Random suburbanites in their self-cut off sleevless shirts, mom jeans galore that kid with the light-up tennis shoes and the little girl in the dress with the watermelons on the collar. You know?

Well I think I want to go to the fair this year, the county one. And I'm going to ride that ferris wheel.
