You

Me

and the

Bourgeoisie

Delilah, my little strong willed 87 Nissan Maxima who some kids have claimed should go on 'Pimp My Ride' has died on me again. Monday evening she died twice, Tuesday morning she died twice on the way to work which resulted in me and Josh installing a battery all by ourselves. (Yes little metal tools and all) Last night I was at a busy intersection during rush hour and by the involuntary lowering of my music i noticed she died....for the billionth time. Now my car is sitting at an oil change joint waiting to be looked at. I'm sure this will cost me all of my savings, if not more. I'm praying for the best- but when I hear words like "belt" and "alternator" (which I have no idea what that means), I'm sure it just translates to, "You're gonna be poor soon, Betsy".

I'm pretty optimistic. This will not ruin my life or my day or my room temp latte.
My mom said something funny the other night that made me happy, she said " If you found yourself in the middle of mexico with a broken down car,no money, and no one speaking English you wouldn't fret. You'd say, "We'll figure this out! We're fine!". "
I like that, I'm glad she see's me in that way.

I just got a call from my mechanic and we're all good, my car won't cost me an arm and a leg. woo.

post script: I'm liking The Submarines, they have a little suh-em suh-em that I enjoy.
