My last post was way too melancholy.
My apologies.
I should be much more motivated than I have been this past week. Being lazy and non busy doesn't suit me well at all, I should be on the go.
We toured the townhome and both feel that, as beautiful and comfy as it was, we can't really afford it and we want to live in the city. That makes my heart light, the fact that I can be the city girl and have a friend who wants the same.
We went to a show last night at Mercy Lounge with Matthew Perryman Jones, Thad Cockrell and Tyler James, and I think that's what sparked our interest in moving to Nashville again. The room was filled with musicians, Nashville scene sorts of people, artists and music lovers- people who like good music, good company, and the city. That's a well balanced life to me. :)
We brushed up against some of our favorite singers, stood beside sandalwood and dirt smelling guy, saw the people we know only through myspace and enjoyed the mix of comers and goers.
Life has it's uncertainty's and we'll never be without them, but if we sole-y dwell on those we'll never enjoy what it is we're getting to do right now.
Before I end this post I would like to showcase some of the artwork by a talented, and one of my favorite artists for quite some time now, Darren Waterston. He has such an ethereal touch to all of his paintings, I fall in love with all of his pieces. His work can be seen in two self-titled books, the painting 'Summit' can be seen as the album art for Silversun Pickups, not to mention it is my picture header here on this very blog. I've been meaning to do an homage to him for a while now and felt this blustery day was perfect. I hope you enjoy his work as much as I. (If you would like to see more images like below, go to his site.) Darren Waterston

With that said and shown, enjoy your weekend,
