Merry Christmas everyone!
After a month of hustle and bustle the Christmas season has now come to an end, and it is Christmas Day! I must say that this month has seemingly flown by faster than what I recall. In the past years I remember my annoyance at how long the month felt and how many times I was going to hear Jingle Bell Rock on the radio. But here I am sort of sad to say that this time has come and passed too quickly.
Last night we went to WOC for the Christmas service then came home to snack and watch a Christmas movie.
I woke up this morning from a text wishing me a Merry Christmas and figured that it was a good wake up call- thus I got out of bed, jumbled and mumbled around until we were all together in the living room ready to exchange gifts. As a kid you don't really have the opportunity to truly get something for your parents, brothers and sisters, or relatives...simply because you don't work nor do you make money. But in the past couple of years I have been able to shop for quaint gifts for those that I love, and I so enjoy that.
Wondering what I got?
Well for starters I just finished importing my newest record from Josh onto my computer, The Weepies - Say I Am You
Also from Josh, My so-called Life the complete series.
A pair of diamond earrings with matching cross necklace from my parents.
A curling iron.
New black stretchy flowy happy pants. (pjs)
Lots of undergarments
Smell good body stuff from Sanctuary
Vera Wang perfume, Sheer Vail
Car freshener
Also money from out of town family.
It has been a good Christmas!
Our family from Birmingham (Uncle Jon, Aunt Beth, Tessa, and Jonathan) are coming to visit for a few days. We'll go to see National Treasure 2 later this evening.
I'm content.
