The sun glaring through the trees looks like fall but the humidity and temperature tell a different story.

We just got back from dollywood late last night, around midnight so needless to say I'm a bit tired from the day. We all got up at 5, left by 5:45, got starbucks and headed to Pigeon Forge.
For some reason the park looked entirely different than it had when I last was there 10 years ago. The good thing about going on a Tuesday was that kids were in school for the most part and the lines wait was no longer than 5 minutes. We rode the first roller coaster, probably my favorite and most intense, about 2-3 times. We basically rode every roller coaster twice though all of the other rides in the park were water rides and none of us wanted to get wet.
A lot of times I felt like the 5th wheel just because it was me and two couples, but never once did I have to ride alone, Josh and Adam always took turns which was so nice of them. And even at lunch when I ended up having to sit by myself, Brittany brought her lunch over....she was really great about walking with me through the park and asking me how I was doing. I really like that girl, I'm so glad that we're roommates.
I have to say though, if ever you want to visit dollywood, do it in the fall. It's in the mountains and you're surrounded by color changning trees and little water streams. Good times. We left the park at 6, ate at cracker barrel where we tried and failed at playing that stupid triangle peg game. One time I ended up with 7 pegs left....how is that even possible? Really? Am I that much of an ignoramus? Apparently. Tons of pictures are on facebook if you'd like to take a look.
No plans for today but to go home, nap, cook dinner and watch last nights episode of The Hills.
I sound so lame.
What are ya gonna do, right?
