Seconds ago I came out of the Thomas Room Studio to listen to Cathy's cover of Janis Joplin's Summertime. She was/is seriously seriously good! I meannnn Cathy! Totally dig what she laid down vocal wise. And I found out Mick is the one who did all of the guitar riffs....cool little quiet mick. Funny......

So there I was sitting on this huge white leather couch listening to this track they just did the vocals for. I love my job- it's way too cool....and I love that it's such a "whatever" to go sit down in a studio where some of the biggest artists of our time have put down their own vocals and guitar parts...where some pretty darn memorable songs have been mastered. Like c'mon, I'm just blessed with a great job.

(The picture above is of the Thomas Room though it looks a bit different now as that was taken while Keith Thomas owned the house about 4 years ago)

It's nice to hear the Joplin song recording went well! Wish I could of worked on it, sounds like Cathy hit it out of the park!
