Last night was fun, and this week has been good to me.
There's no doubt in my mind that I could easily crawl into a bed for a little while and nap but I won't give in. At least not now.
I got together with about 11 girls last night for a little belated birthday dinner at Mellow Mushroom. While at the table I kept thinking of how thankful I am to have found some amazing friends- friends that come from different backgrounds, have different views on the world, different aspirations yet we can all hang out and enjoy eachother's company. I love where God has brought me and who I'm with.
As I do my regular flickr checking of uploaded photos from my contacts, I noticed a few about the artists and their studio workspaces. I do miss the consistency of my past artwork. Everyday I got out my grey table, splattered with paint, random qotes and lyrics intertwined with eachother, and slits in the vinyl from cutting up paper. I resolve that sometime between today and Sunday I will get out my table and materials and create. Maybe silkscreening? If anyone actually reads this, and you happen to know how to silkscreen in the Nashville area, lets talk...I would love to learn.
Once again, Mr. Zach Klein (previous entry) offers up a video on how he made a shirt.

I think I may have a little crush.
Mmmmm I miss the smell of the studio at school- it always smelt like some sort of lacqer and spray paint. :)The sun is out and the weather is nice, with that said
a bientot.
