It is Friday and the weather, not to mention my allergies, are less than desirable.
Last night I had and allergy fit and ended up taking some sort of medicine which knocked me out completely! I got about 11 hours of sleep and could've easily gotten more except that I had to shower and get to work by 8.
You know how your mouth just tastes different when you're sick? Yeah I've got that.
Runny yet stuffy nose, pressure in the head and every word I say somehow ends up sounding like it starts with a 'B'. Now, instead of sitting on my sickness I will take charge and get on with my day. Tonight a bunch of us will hang out which I'm excited for. Viva being young.
So anyway I want to spotlight a certain actress who I think is just plain cool, Miss Zooey Deschanel. I love her demeanor and choice of films- so not only can you see her on the big screen but you can also hear her in your little ears. Her music with M.Ward as the band She & Him , signed with Merge Records, was recently in a video ad for Urban Outfitters. So check that out, if you're a fan of U.O. then I'm sure you'll like this song. Seriously catchy stuff I tell ya, it has bits of old school jazz but also the tones of todays indie feel. 'Why Do You Let Me Stay Here' is her current single,un-downloadable to my dissapointment at this time, but you can give it a listen here.
You know how you like those actors/actresses from afar and secretly wish you could be as cool as they are and envy their style? Well that's her and a few others for me.
